How many people will the Barn accommodate?
The Barn will seat 150 inside comfortably. We have additional seating on the side covered porch with entry into the Barn that will seat 30 more guests (weather permitting).
Where are you located?
We are in the country just south of the DFW metroplex, in the town of Blum, TX. A great place to experience the beautiful scenery, but not too far from the city!!
Do you allow alcohol?
Yes we do, but required a licensed Certified TABC Bartender to serve to the guests on the premises.
Do you require security?
Yes, security is required if alcohol is being served. We have a contact person from Johnson County Sheriffs Department to make arrangements.
Do you have a preferred vendor list?
At this time we do not. You are allowed to bring in the vendors of your choice, however we are happy to recommend people to you.
What is included in your venue rental price?
We supply your tables, chairs,and linens. I have available for use in decorating: glassware, wood, deer-horns, table-skirts, signs, shepherds hooks etc... You may use at no additional charge. Your bridal/engagement photo sessions on the land, or at the barn (photographer not included)
Do you allow candles?
You are allowed to use candles ONLY if they are in containers that do not allow the wax to spill onto the tablecloths.
What is allowed to use for the send off of the bride and groom?
Sparklers, real flower petals, bird seed...anything that is biodegradable. NO confetti is allowed!!
Do you have a clean up fee?
No, we require in our contract that all decorations that the client wants, be removed (unless you want to leave and donate for our brides in the future, please talk with me), all trash be taken to the dumpster, and the kitchen area clean.
